| 54902 | 2002-06-18 01:14:00 | I have two PC's doing exactly the same thing. The only thing in common with the PC's is that they both have an FIC AD11 mainboard. One PC has a fresh install of win98SE and the other is using an existing win98 1st edition. The problem I have is that when you plug in a USB device the PC randomly detects it correctly but more often detects it as an unknown device. I have tried USB mice scanners etc all doing the same thing. I spoke to the supplier of the boards and they have never seen this problem. What I would like to know is has anyone else had this problem or is it most likely going to be faulty mainboards? Cheers |
