| 54787 | 2002-06-17 07:50:00 | Hi I have a problem where i can't get into linux at all! I changed the part where you can boot 2 OS's. I put windows at the top to leave it as defualt but i forgot what the settings were for linux so i guess... and got it wrong. Is there any way i can get back into linux (or windows) to change it. I am running WinME and Linux Mandrake 8.1 download. Plz help as i really liked linux and i would like to get it running again. |

| 54789 | 2002-06-18 05:03:00 | All the Red Hat versions I've used have had 'linux' as the response to Lilo's 'boot: '. Unless Mandrake have 'improved' that, it should still work. If not, read the documentation in the top level directory of your installation CD. You should have a 'rescue' boot option in that. Then fix up lilo.conf and run lilo again. Then make the rescue floppy ... |
