55072 2002-06-18 20:08:00 Seems like my earlier efforts to post this didn't work. I have just installed an AOpen 2440 CD-RW on my Windows XP Pro system and since then have had several crashes when playing games like Cross Craze and Bejwelled which I think require Direct X. Any help, ideas or comments on how to fix this would be appreciated.
Thanks

55073 2002-06-19 05:23:00 I'm not sure about the CDRW, but when you go to play games and the computer crashes, this is almost always caused by graphics card drivers. Luckily, if you have an nVidia card, new drivers are released all the time. You should try downloading the latest ones from their webpage. First, make a system restore, just in case it makes things worse. Hope it DOES work
