| 55245 | 2002-06-19 22:07:00 | Howdy helpers I have hotmail as an account on my Outlook Express with In, Out, Sent, Deleted, MSN Announcements, and Bulk mail. I have set custom filters on inbox to stop junk mail it works well. Stops 90% of spam but now the spam is turning up in the Bulk Mail box. What is the Bulk Mail box? Can I set filters on this box. Can I delete the box? what will happen? Thanks in advance for any help. Cheer Ted Heath |

| 55246 | 2002-06-20 05:40:00 | It's been a while since I last went to the Hotmail page (I have my Hotmail delivered to OE as well) but as far as I can remember the Bulk bin is where all the junk goes so that's why your is now filling up. If you don't want any emails turning up in your Bulk bin in OE go to the Hotmail settings page again and have the bulk mail deleted as soon as it goes in. But only do that if you are sure none of the emails are ones you wish to keep, ie from legit senders. I don't think you will be able to delete the Bulk mail folder or any of the Hotmail mailboxes without disabling the entire thing. Be aware that it won't be long before your Hotmail Inbox gets spam as well. That's Hotmail for you. |
