| 55146 | 2002-06-19 03:30:00 | No tool bar is visible when opening MS Word. I have repaired with no luck. It is operating on Win 98. |

| 55147 | 2002-06-19 03:46:00 | Len, If all else has been tried and failed to resolve your problem then try the one or both of the following: Ensure you are not in Word. 1. Search for the file NORMAL.DOT and delete it. Now go back in to Word and see if all ok if so then the Default template was corrupted. Skip #2 2. Click START | RUN and in the run dialog window type WINWORD.EXE /a This will reset Word registry keys for settings and data to default values. Now go back in to Word and see if all ok if so then the DATA registry value(s) were corrupted. Someone else may have further (easier?) suggestions to try also. Cheers, Babe. |
