What grates me more is seeing the likes of Smith City advertisments selling obvious (to the initiated) bottom end product for top dollar! Seems they get a deal on the clearance of the low end processors. The attraction for buyers?? Must be the easypay/finance options! I bought my first pc 4 years ago from PC Direct (still going strong), at the time because they were cheaper than the "chain stores" equivelent, but appeared to be more reliable (warranty wise) than custom builts. Time changes everything, custom built is the way to go!:D |

Horses for courses. Anyone who knows about computers generally wont buy an HP/Compaq etc anyway. |
