56113 2002-07-02 02:26:00 I'm using Incredimail and the address in IE's address bar this http://pressf1.co.nz,/ cadifan (286)
56114 2002-07-02 02:38:00 Well, the email sent out is just standard html - the url is hard-coded in there with NO ",". Why your email client is sticking a comma in I don't know - the comma is not there when the email is sent.

I checked the copy of the email you sent me, and it works fine for me - meaning again that the "," is NOT in the email, but that when you click on it your email client for some reason inserts one into the URL that gets fed to IE. What version of IE are you running?

I'd appreciate hearing from anyone else with this problem, but as far as I can see it's something that is happening at your end.

56117 2002-07-02 03:32:00 I downloaded and installed Incredimail and yep - it's the mail client. It only does that to the simple PressF1 link, not the actual link back to the message thread but it's a pain to be sure.

we'll remove the "," that follows the link, that should do it.

56118 2002-07-02 05:04:00 It's very difficult to manipulate text, especially when you have "flexible" formatting, and virtually random inputs. :-( All you can do is your "best", and wait for error reports ;-) ... Cadifan: it would be a good idea for you to tell the Incredimail people about this. Help them to get it right, if you like their product. Graham L (2)
56119 2002-07-02 05:12:00 Yep, it would have been better not to have the "," sitting next to the URL without a space. We've just dumped the "," - it wasn't serving any great purpose. Biggles (121)
56120 2002-07-02 11:50:00 Thanx, works great now. cadifan (286)
56121 2002-07-02 14:21:00 Not really problem as such.

But the links on all the other IDG Sites all link to the old pressf1.

ie. www.idg.co.nz which then links to here.

Would be a hassle to update though.
