| 55963 | 2002-06-21 13:02:00 | hi, i tried installing one of my games (jedi knight 2) on win xp pro and it doesn't work, it says that the error was in opening OpenGL Subsytem, what does that mean? Do i need a new vid card driver? | vk_dre (195) | ||

| 55967 | 2002-06-21 23:05:00 | My answer is based on fact not assumptions....... quote " Windows XP seems to come bundled with an Nvidia driver that does not support OpenGL at all. This problems occurs with all kind of Nvidia board (Prophet, GeForce, TNT, MX...). OpenGL games (Quake 3, Wolfenstein, Halflife Counterstrike...) don't run at all, or run in Direct3D mode, which is maybe not what you want." |
