| 56726 | 2002-06-23 08:38:00 | When trying to export mail in OE5 (to move to another machine), I get an "Unable to initialise MAPI" error. According to Microsoft this is because OE is the default mail handler. Their solution is to install Outlook, set it as the default mail handler, export OE5 mail, uninstall Outlook. This would be a rather long process (especially on a P120); surely there must be a registry hack to make OE think it's not the default mail program - does anyone know which keys need to be altered to do this, or have any other bright ideas? |

Just copy the whole folder then import from that 'store' on the new pc. XP will be similar but will have to go to 'documents and settings' first. | wotz (335) | ||
