| 56708 | 2002-06-23 05:21:00 | Hi, A friend and I have both recently upgraded our laptops to Win XP. After the computer has been in Suspend or hibernation, internet dialer will dial and successfully login into our ISP's, but e-mail and web browser is not able to access the internet. To put it simply when I select a page or click on check e-mail the little lights on the two computers icon in the task bar don't flash at each other!. If we reboot the computers the dialer logs in properly and we can surf the web and get e-mail until after the next suspend. Anything we can about this? Dave |

Many problems are quite obtuse and surface some time after the application is suspended. At least a solution is easy - don't use suspend. |
