57061 2002-06-25 00:48:00 Hi Folks,

This has got me stumped. My mother has xp h/e 128 ram, 40gb h/d 1.2ghz cpu. H/P 512a
Recently, photodeluxe manager was installed, which promptly disabled the standby system, and and a error message said the driver for the keyboard was corrupted.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, which did nothing, and found out too late that uninstalling the manager would have fixed the error. With the manager now uninstalled the the standby system is back, however the numeric panel on the keyboard is not now working, and a continious error message keeps popping up on restart, as follows: (I forwarded it to microsoft, but have had no reply) I have restored it, but still the errors persist.

Error Signature

57062 2002-06-25 09:16:00 Have you tried plugging in a standard keyboard?
If it works, then you should be able to go back to the supplier to rectify the problem as the PC sounds like it is only a year or so old.

57064 2002-06-25 22:46:00 Hi Bob

Have a look at
support.gateway.com

Looks like your problem.

There seems to be a windows update that you need to apply, have you regularly applied all updates? They are a pain as there are so many.
