| 56797 | 2002-06-23 22:47:00 | Have recently been ravaged by the VBS.Loveletter.CI vrus which I think has done some damage in Internet Explorer --when I visit some web pages the warning message: "This page provides potentially unsafe information to an ActiveX control. Your current security settings prohibit running conrols in this manner. As a result, this page may not display correctly." displays - have tries adjusting ActiveX instructions via "Internet Options" in "Control Panel" but can't seem to fix it! Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated. | Chunkypix (453) | ||
| 56798 | 2002-06-24 08:18:00 | Which page(s) in particular? It's possible that they DO have something on them which is not marked as safe for scripting. If you can post the location of these pages, someone can check them out and let you know. |

| 56799 | 2002-06-24 10:07:00 | Anti virus programs can also block sites with active x (such as trends PC Cillin) If the site you are trying to access is one that you trust, then try turning off any anti virus that you have to see if it will let you in. But remember to turn the anti virus on again after you've visited the site. And only do it if the site is a trusted one. |
