| 56899 | 2002-07-19 05:47:00 | Yes Heather, We found all sorts of things, we tried all sorts of things, but we didn't actually fix it, nothing we did made it work! We got to a point where the machines HAD to be used, and since there was a deadline for magazines to be put together, and we had got internal file transfers happening crudely via ICQ, we decided to leave it alone. Simply put, when we stopped trying to fix it, and a while down the track, it fixed itself. Erin just opened windows explorer one afternoon, about a week ago and after we had long since given up, and there sitting in her folder was the shared drive, from another machine, fully functional. Networking had magically returned. ?:| |
