| 57028 | 2002-06-24 22:46:00 | I'm looking for the cheapest AGP video card with twin VGA outputs. This is to be used to extend the desktop in Win XP. Any suggestions? | scratch (615) | ||

I'm not too sure how much an AGP dual head card is, but I have a feeling they're pretty dear. I've got a (very) cheap PCI 4mb card running my second screen, and it works quite well (running XP Pro). I quite like it too - my only hassle is screensavers don't work well across two screens (although most of them still work). I guess that could be because one video card is 3D capable, and the other isn't really, so new stuff doesn't display properly, but you get that on a cheap second hand card I guess. Mike. |
