| 57291 | 2002-06-25 21:55:00 | I'm doing my clean ups of our windows 98 PCs. Some wont defrag. they stall at 10% or zero %. I've tried it in safe mode but still no joy. Any ideas. Thanks Paul |

| 57292 | 2002-06-25 21:59:00 | The defrag will stop working if the computer starts doing other things, eg screen saver comes on. When you want to run the Defrag, disable the screensaver and make sure no other programs are running. This means don't do anything when defrag is running This should fixed your problem :) |

| 57294 | 2002-06-25 22:47:00 | I always run Defrag in safe mode. That way, nothing else is running in the background to interfere with the defrag. Either that, or ctrl/alt/del & end task for everything but explorer & systray. |
