57182 2002-06-25 10:22:00 I am using 128 mb of sdram with a 233 pentium mmx chip, I have a spare 64mb of edo ram , will the two different rams work together ? David (639)
57183 2002-06-25 10:32:00 er.....yes and no. while some mobo's can i personaly don't like it due to trying to run ram at 2 different speeds/setting is just asking for trouble.

plus there is also mobo limits check in the manual first.

57184 2002-06-25 22:32:00 They may work together. Make sure you can turn off a parity check in the BIOS first. EDO, Man that is old stuff. is your 128 EDO as well? if it isn't I wouldn't put the 64 MB in.

57188 2002-07-04 07:24:00 Hi, Thankyou for replying,
they are working together but I am not sure if there is any improvement with the edo ram in or out. Both my bios and system accept the extra ram.My 128 is sdram so I just might upgrade with sd and donate the edo to Te Papa.........Yes
Cheers Dave
