57236 2002-06-25 19:35:00 Many times my IE6 hangs for no apparent reason, then subsequently fails to shut down. Could it be due to ISP (which is a bit dodgy), I appreciate suggestions. Pete (647)
57237 2002-06-25 21:56:00 As a suggestion, Have you run a defrag lately, and a Scan disk lately. Also if you have a program such as Nortons Utillities you should run the disk doctor programs to see if it can find any errors. And finally if you have done all of these and it is still freezing you should try reinstalling IE

57238 2002-06-25 22:20:00 Try doing a repair of IE from the Add/Remove Programs option in Control Panel. Susan B (19)
57239 2002-06-26 01:03:00 If you are new user you might be just accumulating too much junk. Clean out history and (when disconnected) temp files and cookies and don't have a million websites shrunk onto your taskbar. All this can cause 'freeze-ups' - went thru the same thing myself. mark c (247)
