57822 2002-06-27 15:19:00 OK...I have lost one of my partitions.........one minute it was there...fat 32 -> then the computer froze -> I had to hard reboot -> now it is showing as Raw, all data gone, no disk label -> nothing.

I have a backup but it's just under 24hrs old...and in the meantime I have some coding I don't want to rewrite if I can avoid it.........

Setup goes a bit like this:

2 40gig drives -> Both partitioned into 3 parts........

It is D on the second drive that has gone astray...............

If anyone has any ideas it would be appreciated :)

OS is win XP...............

as for virus scenarios KLEZ turned up today....but nortons caught that before it had a chance to go anywhere.............
