This pack is primarily for developers to include on products such as game cd's . The big advantage of this pack is that it is for all operating systems which makes it a good file to have if you change your operating system . Emedialive has written up a review of Microsoft's new Windows Media technology called Corona, which is being touted by Microsoft as having a big part in the future of DVD . Here's part of what the review has to say: Corona's biggest bragging point is the efficiency of its video codec, which promises to deliver high-definition video compression (up to 720 lines per inch) at 1/2 to 1/3 the bandwidth required by MPEG-2, according to Michael Aldridge, lead product manager of Microsoft's Windows Digital Media Division .
