| 57741 | 2002-06-27 09:29:00 | I run Word 2000 on a 450Mhz Pentium 3, under Windows 98SE. I went in to <Tools> <Customize> <Options> and tried to untick <Standard and Formatting Toolbars Share One Row> but it would not allow me to untick it. The other two options Personalized Menus and Toolbars are clear and greyed out respectively. I want to get my "double" toolbars back. Can anyone help me to get Word 2000 to allow me to untick the option I need. |

If you look at the toolbar at the top, there should be a little divider line on the row between what is effectively the standard and the formatting toolbars. If you hover the mouse over the divider it gives you a little move indicator. You can grab it with the mouse (left click and drag) it away from the main toolbar. Once you've done that you can reposition it below the standard toolbar and it should clip into place. HTH Callum |
