| 57697 | 2002-06-27 06:11:00 | Just for the record chaps, NEVER download or install anything called Cyd_Gif studio or similar. When you remove it, it deleted the folder above which it is installed. For example, if you install it into C:/Program Files/Cyd_Gif, you can kiss goodbye to program files, as I did... Not cool, imagine if you installed it in c:/windows/Cyd_gif! Just take a second and think about all the things in your program files folder, what would you do if you lost them all? Beware of this program... :) Erin |

| 57700 | 2002-06-28 05:04:00 | Hi, Cyd_Gif was a program I downloaded under the misguided impression it would allow me to convert .bmp to .jpg. It was pretty useless, so I uninstalled it, and it took 6GB of my other program files with it... Not cool... Erin |

| 57701 | 2002-06-28 06:29:00 | Ummmmmm Erin...... Why would you want to use something unknown (read: dangerous) anyway, when Windows Paint will do that, as will Irfanview and probably acdc or whatever it's called? ?:| ?:| I know it's a bit late to say this now but heck! there were simple options available that could have spared you grief. Next suggestion: Ghost, for those times when you wish you could turn the clock back. Cheers Billy 8-{) |

| 57703 | 2002-07-06 12:13:00 | Hi, There were a variety of other things I wanted to be able to do also, which paint and Irfanview couldn't do. I've got Adobe Photoshop now, so I don't need it anymore, but it didn't appreciate being removed... :) Erin |
