| 57691 | 2002-06-27 05:25:00 | Ok, I'm running Win2k Pro. It's been sweet for about six months, but now there is a dramatic pause in loading. When it comes up with the desktop there is almost a minute wait before the icons come up which didn't happen before and it seems the "you are running low on virtual memory" dialogue comes up a fair bit. i'm running the same apps, nothing new, have defragged and cleaned and tidied since I built the machine. Is there some stupid setting or something somewhere for this? |
