| 57764 | 2002-06-27 10:37:00 | I have a problem with WinXP pro.Every time i boot up in the mornings i had to boot twice to three times to get it to recognize my modem.My modem is a lucent 56k/data/fax modem.Winxp does not recognize this and lately i have had to reboot up to 12 times.So does anyone know a fix for this problem without having to buy a new modem.Thanks. | mikecoup (689) | ||
| 57765 | 2002-06-27 11:17:00 | Hi ya mikecoup, Just a thought. There were several of us with conexant modems that had problems when upgrading to XP Pro. The only solution we found was to use a generic driver called: Fujitsu LB RWModem V.90 56K E. If all else fails, may be worth a shot trying that one. Cheers. :) |
