| 57648 | 2002-06-27 05:04:00 | Greetings fellow internet um.... persons. I have been having "problems" with ClearNet, in that when I dial in during the day, I get a connection but no response when I enter a url (this is my ClearNet connection). At 2:30 this afternoon I couldn't do this. I don't think the problem is at my end. If I dial my Xtra connection is works fine albeit more expensive. Any comments please. Cheers |

| 57650 | 2002-06-27 07:14:00 | I have been having this problem with an Xtra account. I am unable to ping any internet address after succesfully connecting to Xtra on three different PCs. I have found that the Xtra account was designated as ISDN, but the Xtra tech told me it should still work. I have not followed up on this further yet. I can connect using different ISP accounts OK on all the PCs. |

| 57651 | 2002-06-28 06:25:00 | It happened again today around 1.00pm. Called the help desk and they suggested trying another dial in number (which I didn't do...) . As I use Linux as a gateway, no support buster. They said it could be network bottlenecks but wouldn't state they were having one at that time. They also suggested slowing my modem down (hmmm). I'm thinking of changing my isp. I was a zfree customer and hardly ever had a problem. |
