| 1305105 | 2012-10-04 09:08:00 | Just added a 2TB HDD to this HP Pavilion Elite HPE-070a - works fine other than that I can't configure the SATA mode to AHCI or IDE mode, it's set to RAID in BIOS. When I changed to AHCI or IDE mode, Windows fails to start (BSOD). It starts perfectly OK when it's in RAID mode - other than the Intel Matrix Storage Manager option appears briefly, showing the two installed HDDs as Non-RAID Disks; then proceeds to booting up Win 7. Is it OK to leave the SATA mode to RAID in the BIOS setup? |
