| 1304708 | 2012-10-02 21:59:00 | My new pc has arrived from pbtech! It came with several install cds. Gigabyte mobo, Sapphire gpu , dvd rom drive disc and Win 7 OS. Question is, which of these do I need to install and in what order? LL |

Gigabyte MB drivers 3.GPU driver +1 except get the GPU driver from Nvidia.com or AMD.com depending what card it is, CD's are always miles out of date for graphics drivers. The included MB drivers however should be fine, I usually just use those myself. The install CD's also often include utilities and ant-virus software (usually a limited time trial) that you don't need, I'd recommend installing drivers only and getting your ant-virus elsewhere (MSE or NOD as per usual recommendations) Of course if windows is pre-installed and running then none of them :) |

Easy mistake to make if it's in the wrong one. You should at least see the POST screen. Also check the monitor is set for the relative input (VGA, DVI, HDMI, whatever you are connected to), some default to the wrong one and don't auto detect. |
