1305474 2012-10-07 04:45:00 Hey guys.

Got a new one, for you.

Got landed with DIL notebook. It's a Aspire One, D270 system.

Can't get it to boot up.

Starts up saying, Set-up is starting service, for ages, then says, Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation.

All I can do is press Enter and it goes into a loop.

Any ideas?

Thanks, again,

Ian

To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation. Seen that exact message after Sysprep had been run and didn't work for some reason, and that's all that will be on the unit.

I know no thing about the machine.

How do I access the recovery?

1305483 2012-10-07 08:38:00 Pressing and holding the alt and f10 keys during boot up should do it. Nick G (16709)
