1305494 2012-10-07 00:19:00 This question would be been seen in the past but yes im having wireless drop outs on my laptop , the message says problem with network adpater , and so im wondering if it is dead or what is it doing and also it says it is connected but yes cant identify something on there .That stops it from working . Yesterday i had similar problem on mobile , wireless dropouts.
I have noticed the wireless light on the modem is turned off most of the time but right now it is turned on and every light is turned on the modem . Any ideas what could be the problem . Thanks

and also noticed modem gets hot but not super hot

1305495 2012-10-07 02:37:00 Update the wireless drivers, and update the firmware on the modem/router Speedy Gonzales (78)
1305496 2012-10-07 02:38:00 Stuff like that isn't specifically the wireless device itself, but may actually be issues caused by the WiFi AP. Does it also happen on other peoples WiFi APs? Chilling_Silence (9)

1305499 2012-10-07 04:31:00 Microsoft virtual wifi adapter drivers won't have any effect. icow (15313)
1305500 2012-10-07 04:41:00 hey yes your right , have resetted modem . I also tested signal ,seems 99% -good . Nhashon (16466)
1305501 2012-10-07 05:54:00 Don't forget there may be other things interfering with the wireless signal, especially as you have more than one wireless device with the problem. If I turned on my microwave my wireless signal came to a screeching halt. Moving the modem solved that problem. Jen (38)
1305502 2012-10-07 06:00:00 yep. Only god knows why i put my modem/router next to the microwave. Slankydudl (16687)
