1305330 2012-10-05 18:56:00 Download piriform speccy and see how many ram slots you have spare. Also, what OS are you running? And how much ram is there in the first place. Speccy will tell you all of that.

Oh, and please don't use caps - it comes across as shouting ;)

1305331 2012-10-05 18:58:00 According to the manual (which is german), this is what it takes

The four 184-pin. Socket on the motherboard support DDR (Double Data Rate) SDRAM (Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory) DIMMs. You can 128-MB, 256-MB, 512-MB or
1-GB DIMMs for memory with a capacity of 4 GB install. The DDR DIMM modules should be operated at 2.5 volts. you can PC2700/DDR333- or PC3200/DDR400-Module in the GDR
DIMM sockets installed. Ask your dealer for qualified DIMM manufacturers.

Every single DDR-DIMM socket is independent from other bases. Because of this independence can DDR DIMMs install different capacities to various . The system maybe an Acer Veriton x700GX / 7700G

You cant use DDR 2 or 3, theyre not compatible. And it will take 4x 1 GB in each slot. Since it supports up to 4 GB. And lose the caps.
