1305315 2012-10-05 02:33:00 Running Vista 32bit. Done HDD and RAM checks, updated graphics drivers, startup looks tidy, runs OK, just random BSODs. Having real trouble tracking down a culprit. Almost thinking it might be hardware related.

If anyone is able to have a look (www.mediafire.com)and let me know if there is anything in there that I'm missing, that would be great. :)

Edit - One thing I just noticed is after a BSOD, MSE appears to have reverted back to the previous version (I updated it earlier). Will remove this and see if it's the culprit.

1305316 2012-10-05 03:07:00 Something is making hal.ddl crash with stop error 0x0000000a 0x00000000 0x00000002 0x00000000 0x8224c503. Does it have a dual core or quad core CPU in it? Speedy Gonzales (78)
1305317 2012-10-05 03:31:00 Yeah that was as far as I got too haha. :p C2D T9300.

Believe it or not, I can't get it to fault after removing MSE. I've just reinstalled it now, and it still seems ok, fingers crossed.

Edit - almost 40,000 posts Speedy! Impressive.

1305318 2012-10-05 04:04:00 If it crashes later, I would find updated drivers for the network / wifi etc..From the manufacturer's site, not Dell. It looks the LAN is Marvel / Intel is the wireless / Conexant for the modem / Intel for the SATA (if its running in AHCI mode). Some of them look a bit old. Are there games on this that are using safedisc?? Did it crash when playing games that need / use safedisc? Speedy Gonzales (78)
