| 1305017 | 2012-10-03 22:56:00 | In the middle of last night at 00:14AM. I received a Skype call from (+64221006171). It was automated and kept repeating that it was from someone to do "Skype" or "Internet" quality; I don't remember which because of the hour. I have blocked it of course, but how can I be charged for an unknown person calling me? How can I prevent it from happening again? |

| 1305020 | 2012-10-04 03:37:00 | I don't have a Skype acc. but I do have Skype credit, which has been reduced by 0,610 Euros as a result of last night's call. | Vince (406) | ||
| 1305021 | 2012-10-04 03:45:00 | Isn't that a 2 degress cellphone number? In any case I'd dispute it, you can't be charged for receiving a call unless it's collect and then you have to accept the charges. The only other option is if something on your PC was actually dialling out using skype. I'm not so familiar with skype though, I only use it when I need to and shut it down the rest of the time. I don't let it sit active in the background. |

If you log into the Skype website and check the usage log, what does the charge type appear as? As inphinity mentioned above, do you have call forwarding set up (e.g. to forward calls from your Skype account to a landline or cellphone)? |

Skype rang like it does when my daughter calls me and when I answered I got the above call. |
