1304804 2012-10-03 01:20:00 I have two Vertex SSD's running in Raid 0. No other storage devices are installed. With Windows 7 64 bit the system runs well and is very fast.

My problem is with the boot sequence.Very slow.
I always get a message, "CPU fan error". There is nothing wrong with the fan! and temperaturess are normal. I suspect a misdiagnosis by windows.
On the Raid page i'm told "an error occured". The first raid is in red. But then after a pause it continues loading. At the top of the page it says "Raid status OK."
Then when Windows starts to load the four flags appear. After a longish pause the screen turns black, another pause and eventualy I get the "Welcome" page.
Then I get a message in the notification area. "Ignore current alert for now. Matrix Storage Console".
From here on I have no further problems. Everything runs properly and about 12% faster than without Raid.
Until I have to reboot!
The strange thing is that sometimes I can boot and everything is normal. No warnings of any sort. But suddenly they are back again.
In "computer" I show just the one drive, which is 100 gig lower than it should be. In "computer management" I show two drives. The second one is 100 gigs, unalocated. With show hidden files selected it says it is empty. But it can not be removed or altered.C drive can not be expanded.
This seems to be not causing any trouble, it is just annoying.

1304805 2012-10-03 01:24:00 It'll be the BIOS not windows that's saying it. Since, you're not even in windows when it says CPU fan error. I get this error once in a blue moon (not every day). I just press F1 to continue. I would check the fan settings in the BIOS. You havent changed anything have you? Have you updated the SATA / Raid drivers?? These maybe up to 10.8.0.1033 (This may or may not apply tour system). Speedy Gonzales (78)

Bios has not been changed since new motherboard 12 months ago. The message has arrived with the new SSD's
