| 57889 | 2002-06-28 00:00:00 | I am trying to install some software on my machine running 98 SE. When window's installer is being configured, I get the following message ERROR CREATING PROCESS <C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\IXP000.TEMP\msiinst.exe/i instmsi.msi/ REBOOT=REALLYSUPRESS/q> Reason %1 is not a valid WIN32 application. Do I need to reinstall windows, and if so, any suggestions on the best way to do it, or is my other software faulty? I have successfully installed this program on a machine running WIN 97 (95 vers 2.5b) so I suspect the former. Any and all suggestions gratefully received. |
