| 58130 | 2002-06-29 03:24:00 | Are the sites "foreign"? That is, people who don't use the same characters as us. ;-) You could try, if your browser is like this IE, View/Encoding, and untick the Auto-Select, and make sure that Western European (Windows) is selected. |

| 58131 | 2002-06-29 03:45:00 | Hi Graham Thanks for that - yes they are definately English site in fact it can happen on Google home page - I have checked that the computer is set at Western European - the sites start out as english and as I am reading the screen seems to flicker and then the other rubbish appears - more like symbols than writing |

| 58132 | 2002-06-29 03:52:00 | Umm ... If it's happening in Google home page, it's not that end causing it. Have you got your firewall and antivirus going yet? It might be too late ... :-( . I think there's an FAQ coming or here ... but Zonealarm seems to be the firewall of choice, and AVG for antivirus. | Graham L (2) | ||
