| 58170 | 2002-06-29 09:50:00 | That's one of the cleverest spoofs I've seen. It takes off the US pro/anti gun lobbies a treat. I'm a closet screwdriver fanatic myself, having a wide range of models including miniature versions that can easily be concealed about your person, right up to a large calibre "assault" version that takes two hands to operate. My latest pride and joy is a fully automatic version with two spare magazines of bits and a very neat and anonymous case for unobtrusive carrying in public places. I'm voting for the pro-screwdriver party in the upcoming election as I reckon it's every New Zealand citizen's right to bear tools. Cheers Billy 8-{) :D :D |

| 58172 | 2002-06-29 11:13:00 | Daft? who's daft? I keep a screwdriver in my handbag right next to my lipstick. You'd be amazed how often the boys try to borrow it (the screwdriver that is) Infringements of personal freedoms already abound. It's not allowed on airplanes. It will just be a matter of time till it is banned from public streets. Screwdriver carriers of the world unite against this potential loss of freedom! |

| 58173 | 2002-06-30 00:39:00 | Unite??........ form a screwdriver admiration club?? We all get together and show off our screwdrivers?? :D What about my favourite??.....it started life as a cordless drill but has since been modified to a 12v screwdriver from hell.....I have attachments for my attachments including some very loooooong phillips bits. What shall we call ourselves??.... Do we restrict it to just owners of screwdrivers or do we expand the membership to owners of hammers (sorry sensative two way adjusters) What about owners of pocket knives with screwdriver attachments? Why am I asking so many questions? Is the meaning of life really 42 or did someone do their maths wrong? |

| 58175 | 2002-06-30 00:56:00 | I'm also a tradesman who used to use screwdrivers. It started with one, then two, then a whole set, then I got ANOTHER SET! My addiction got really bad when I finally left my trade with numerous sets of screwdrivers plus a pistol grip air powered screwdriver with numerous different attachments! I've been out of the trade for four years and I STILL HAVE ALL MY SCREWDRIVERS! I need help. Where is SCREWDRIVERS ANONYMOUS :_| |
