| 58158 | 2002-06-29 00:47:00 | I am really annoyed seeing those little arrows on the shortcuts on desktop...and so i tried removing it. Well i searched and found the following on some websites which tell to do the following: Here's how you can remove those shortcut arrows from your desktop icons in Windows XP. Start regedit. Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTlnkfile Delete the IsShortcut registry value. You may need to restart Windows XP. I cant find the "Inkfile" Key under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT I have searched the registry for the key/data/value for that string but i cant find it. X-( I have WinXP Prof. Can someone help me here or show me some other way to do it. Thankx :) |
