| 58662 | 2002-06-30 12:02:00 | Have set up my connection configuration to "Disconnect a call if idle for more than 10 minutes" but it ain't happening. I'm positive it used to work but now it doesn't. Opening the Connection Icon it seems that every minute some bytes are sent which would obviously make the connection remain active - that raises another query - what data is being sent every minute? | Keith (770) | ||

| 58664 | 2002-06-30 23:28:00 | 2 possibilities are: 1) Outlook checking for new e-mail (check under tools, options, general) 2) One of those little programs that sends data periodically just to keep your connection alive (but then if you were the only person with access to your computer you would remember installing this ;\ ) |
