58638	2002-06-30 10:42:00	Why do my XP Desktop Icons move around. Each time I bootup I notice that some of the Icons have changed places for no apparent reason. Its not as if they are trying to get into alphabetical order, just random. ?:| Poppa John	Poppa John (284)
58639	2002-06-30 10:47:00	It's the icon dance. A little known feature of computers. Usually happens around the time of the full moon. Try right clicking your desktop and looking for a heading Arrange Icons. See if the icon dance (or something similar) is checked. (I use Win 98 but assume XP has a similar feature).	Heather P (163)

58643	2002-06-30 11:17:00	Did you right click an empty spot on your desktop and is there a heading "Arrange icons"? It may be set to Auto arrange, arrange by date or some such.	Heather P (163)
58644	2002-06-30 11:39:00	Heather is right - i use xp and if i right click an empty space i get: Arrange Icons By - tick allign to grid and tick show desktop icons. Thats what mine have ticked and they stay put but i can drag them around into new positions if i want too. Hope that does the trick! :-)	J ZEP (336)
