| 58764 | 2002-07-01 09:35:00 | I had the same problem with New XP, with Epson 460 printer & Mustek 1200 scanner. Updated driver for Epson was Ok. Not so with Mustek. In the end I traded the 2 yr old Mustek back to the shop plus some dollars & got a new Acer which was Ok. With the Mustek, nothing we tried worked for us. Shop was generous with the Acer. | 58765 | 2002-07-02 09:39:00 | Poppa John Mny tks yr response - so I have a 300/400 dollar piece of plastic & glass, can't believe in this day & age the problem can't be fixed. I broke my golden rule and bought Mustek scanner from whiteware shop, so can't see much hope in returning scanner. Chris |

I have also just been into Google Search & typed mustek bearpaw 2400 drivers & got lots of other stuff. I also, vaguely, remember I spoke to some outfit on the North Shore here in Auckland .
