It would appear there are a few users suffering this problem from a couple of Polls about this . "As you are aware, Microsoft® mouse products enjoy a reputation for dependability and reliability backed by one of the best Limited Warranty offers in the industry . Microsoft has received reports that a small percentage of IntelliMouse® Explorer, IntelliMouse Optical and Wheel Mouse Optical mouse products have stopped working or have begun to work intermittently after a period of normal use . Symptoms of this condition may include the cursor not moving, mouse buttons not responding or the red tail-light not illuminating . It is also possible that this condition may cause the computer or an open program to stop responding (hang) during or immediately following mouse movements . (If your computer stops responding or hangs without moving the mouse, this is unrelated to the condition described herein . ) If you live in the United States, and your IntelliMouse Explorer, IntelliMouse Optical or Wheel Mouse Optical should stop working or begin to work intermittently after normal use, Microsoft will replace the mouse free of charge under the terms of the products Limited Warranty . If your mouse is now outside the Limited Warranty Period but stopped working within the Limited Warranty Period, Microsoft will still replace it free of charge, provided that you send in the coupon below and required proof of purchase within 90 days from the date of this notice . If your Limited Warranty Period has expired, Microsoft will extend it for 90 days from the date of this notice . " Now about Windows!!!! Its not working properly can I get a new one?? |
