| 59194 | 2002-07-02 03:07:00 | I have XP Pro installed on my pc . Windows Messenger installed itself with the OS . It seems to be dramatically slowing my dial-up connection for E-mail, especially when downloaded or uploading file attachments, which I do a lot of . I has tried to disable Messenger, turning it off etc, but every time I open either Outlook or Outlook Express, Messenger opens again . Do you know how I can rid myself of this pesky, unwanted piece of software> |
