| 59251 | 2004-09-17 22:58:00 | I have always been under the impression that the screensaver is disabled in safe mode. Is it supposed to be disabled? I normally turn off the screensaver before doing a defrag but forgot this time and was pretty annoyed to find it running and causing defrag to start again. :-( |

| 59252 | 2004-09-18 04:30:00 | Yes,Susan I read in a posting quite a while back that screensavers were not automatically stopped in safe mode. You have to disable them manually. I always do this in Windows ME. Do no know about other operating systems but it seems from your experience that it is not just ME. Misty :) |
