60075 2002-07-05 08:15:00 OK, I went to Electronic Boteque (I can't spell very well) and bought Hatt Hoffmans's Pro BMX for $5. I love this game from PSX and thought it would be cool on my fairly good computer (running Windows XP Pro.). Well I installed that sucker and loaded the game. I got to the main window, everthing looked fine, chose my character and clicked on accept and *bang*, the game crashes to my desktop. It is as if the game doesn't even want to try to run the game. Can some one help me, please. I have a simular problem with Wolfenstein, (RTCW). I have a NVIDIA RIVA TNT2/TNT2 Pro (32 MB card) and RTCW DID work fine on XP (after getting the drivers from the NViDIA site) but now it says "Underrun, you need more that 5MB of free space on you drive". Well, I am thinking 7 GB's is enough, don't you? But no. My computer will not see this. I would LOVE to hear from ANYONE who can tell me ANYTHING about both of my problems. THanks

James

60076 2002-07-05 15:45:00 Hi James,
I had the same problem with "Return to Castle Wolfenstein" with my machine running Win XP. Although my video card is different to yours, the problem sounds the same as a few others I know with XP trying to run Wolfenstein. I contacted the manufacturer of my P.C., and they told me that Microsoft do not include "Open GL" drivers with XP. It has been in every other OS from microsoft right up to ME. The techy I was talking to had a machine virtually identical to mine, and had the same trouble with Wolfenstein. He installed "open GL" driver from Windows 2000, (which XP is based on), and no more problem ! Same with me. He told me which driver to download and install, based on the type of motherboard etc. my machine had, and where to get it from.
Maybe it might be worth contacting the manufacturer of your machine to see if they can help you as they did me.
Hope this may be of some use to you,
Regards,
Snowman.
