| 60265 | 2002-07-06 09:03:00 | Hi I have just reformated my computer from windows xp to put windows 98se on it. Now i am having problems with the dvd . The movies all keep jerking or seem to be running slowly how do i stop this . It worked fine b4 i formated it I havnt installed a driver as windows set it up could this be the problem. Ive heard that it could be the zoneing and how can i make it multi zone???? i am using power dvd version 4 as the software please help Thanks Glen |

| 60266 | 2002-07-06 10:02:00 | whenever you reformat you need to load the correct drivers in. you can get cracks for dvd drives. one for the player software and cracked firmware for the drive(depends on what drive it is). however if the dvd drive as zone protection built in (firmware) you can only play 5 dvd (that might be 5 zones changes) before the drive will stay at the last zone. once that happens you can't crack the drive. note its illegal and will void your warranty. |

| 60267 | 2002-07-06 10:39:00 | thanks i understand a little better now I am having problems finding the correct driver off the net since i dont have the disc The drive is a samsung sd-616F dvd drive do you have any ideas where i could get one I tried drivers org but it only has a xp driver and not a win 98 se driver. Also would this be causing the jerking and slow play when i play the dvds thanks Glen |
