| 60270 | 2002-07-06 07:55:00 | A long time ago, I used to belong to Actrix Networks. Proformance problems caused me to dump them, now with Paradise dialup and not too many complaints!! However, though no big deal, the top line of IE shows "Press F1- New Zealand's etc - Actrix Networks. I would like to get rid of the Actrix Networks bit. I realise that it will involve fooling around with the registry, but I need some detailed assistance from some kind soul. My gratitude will be your reward. |

I can't guarantee the reliability of the download however - check it for viruses first before actioning. Look at Scot's Newletter (www.scotsnewsletter.com) for instructions on how to do it manually J. |

Its a registry mod, using registry editor delete the following value, HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\InternetExplo rer\Main\ActrixNetworks.;) Don't touch anything else ,changing things in the registry can make your computer disfuctional.:( |
