| 60251 | 2002-07-06 04:32:00 | Hi Guys My kids have a CD_ROM based game which requires to be played in Dos, but there does not appear to be a driver for the CD-ROM when the computer is in Dos mode. Is there any way I can get the system to load a suitable driver at start-up? The machine is running Win 98 SE. Your help would be much appreciated. |

Click START | SETTINGS | CONTROL PANEL In Control Panel click Add/Remove Programs Select the option to create a Startup Disk and follow the instructions. When complete make the diskette READONLY by sliding the little tab UP. Now you can boot your pc to DOS mode from this diskette. Could also come in handy for trouble shooting or in an emergency. Cheers, Babe. |

| 60254 | 2002-07-06 05:46:00 | Thanks Graham and Babe. The game loads fine when booting up from a boot diskette, but with no sound. Is there a way to load the sound at the same time? Thanks Willie |
