| 60168 | 2002-07-05 23:53:00 | I have a P4 1500Mh machine with 512 MB RAM and Win 98SE. When I try to install (some) programmes, I get error: Unhanded exception Error Number: 0x80070725 Description: Incompatible version of the RPC stub Happens early on before install shield is operating. Have re-installed Win98SE, used Norton tools to check Win and Registry. This appeared after several months of trouble-free use of the computer. Not keen to clear HDD and start again as I have so much on it. Any ideas for trouble-shooting/repair? WesB |
