60783 2002-07-08 08:07:00 There is no harm in deleting the original zipped file
(Assuming you don't need to keep it for a backup)

60784 2002-07-08 08:44:00 If you have space - or room on a spare disk - keep it as a backup. Computers can crash and it's handy to have to reinstall.

If it's non-critical then dump it if you wish. A zip file is not used once it's contents have been installed.

60785 2002-07-08 09:37:00 Hi, my name is Elwin and I'm a downloadaholic.

I wait 'till I have 100meg or so then dump to CDRW. When that gets full I copy that to a blank CDR, then wipe the CDRW and start the process again.

Don't ask me what I download 'cos I'm not telling. Just be happy to know that over the last 3 years I have ammased close to 2gb of ZIPs and EXEs
