| 60599 | 2002-07-07 10:56:00 | Hello I bought a new PC system last month, and it came pre-installed with Win XP (Home) and Messenger 4.6. Everything worked fine until I tried to send a holiday photo to one of my contacts. It always stops me transferring files through Messenger. How can I allow it to send files without reinstalling Messenger from MSN all over again ? |

| 60600 | 2002-07-07 11:09:00 | You could try disabling XP's firewall. First signout of messenger then disconnect from the internet. Now go to the control panel and open network connections, right-click your internet connection and go to properties. Now on the advanced tab uncheck the box that enables XP's firewall. Connect to the net and send your files, but remember to enable the firewall again once you have sent your files. |
