| 60852 | 2002-07-08 12:46:00 | I have a Toshiba lap top running Windows 98se. It logs on to my ISP as normal but will not transfer any data or find a web site. No error messages are shown, & the modem stays connected until I log off. I use the same ISP with a desk top computer, using the same copy of 98se. Any ideas? |

| 60856 | 2002-07-09 09:23:00 | My laptop has this problem only at home when I use power which I can tell by the low bps. I can get sites etc on battery only. I managed to isolate the problem to interference coming down the power wires, well I think I have. What bps do you get when you cant get a web site? | thephoenix (850) | ||
